Itinerary:
Friday:
- 5:00-9:00 pm late registration at the
Maple Pool Campground.
Saturday:
- 8:00-12:00 am late registration at the
Maple Pool Campground.
- 8:30 am event meeting for all participants to
review safety, festival activities, and to arrange shuttles. Meet at the
registration desk.
- 9:00
am 65 Cubic Meters a Second. Ramp up to 85 CMS from 12 -
2:00 pm.
- 9:00 am first shuttle of the day depart
Maple Pool Campground
for power lines (guided intermediate run).
- 9:00 am beginner clinic with Warm Rapids Inn meets at
registration desk at Maple Pool Campground.
- 9:30 am second shuttle of the day depart
Maple Pool Campground for power lines (guided intermediate run).
- 10:00 am shuttle for Hatchery
(beginner with a roll/intermediate).
- More shuttles depart the Maple Pool Campground throughout the day
as needed (roughly every hour).
- 12:00 pm guided beginner trip from Maple Pool Campground to Lewis Park.
- 2:00 - 5:00 pm 85
Cubic Meters a Second.
- 3:30 pm freestyle clinic with Rob
Cartwright meets at Tarp and Play.
- 7:00 pm-ish start of BC Creek Protection Society
presentation, video, raffle, draw, and prize give a ways, at the
Maple Pool Campground.
Sunday:
- 10:00 am - 3:00 pm 110 Cubic Meteres a Second.
- 10:00 am first shuttles of the day
depart from Maple Pool Campground for Stotan Falls (strong intermediate) and the lower Fish
Hatchery (intermediate). More shuttles depart the Maple Pool Campground throughout the day as needed (roughly every hour).
- 10:00 am mini slalom at either Condensory
Bridge or Puntledge Park. Inquire at registration.
- 11:15 am shuttle(s) departs for Tarp
and Play to get to viewing
spot for "Expression Session" at Tarp and Play (no boats).
- 12:00 am "Expression Session" (or low
key freestyle competition)
at Tarp and Play feature. Experienced paddlers only. Follow signs to the end of Power House Road
and walk from there (about 500 meters).
- Following "Expression Session".
Freestyle clinic with Rob
Cartwright meets at Tarp and Play.
- 1:00 pm final shuttle(s).
- 3:00 pm event conclusion (last take
out at Maple Pool Campground).
