Vancouver Kayak Club 50th Anniversary Event

Please be advised that the Vancouver Kayak Club (http://www.vankayak.org) is planning its 50th Anniversary event!

When: 2008-05-10 - 2008-05-11
Where: Chilliwack, Vancouver, BC

The Vancouver Kayak Club (VKC) will host a kayaking festival on the Chilliwack River, BC, Canada on May 10/11th, 2008.
Event will include camping, shuttle, BBQ, guided runs, clinics, contests, and entertainment.

We are currently seeking sponsors and support. A request for support has been drafted and anyone interested in supporting this event is encouraged to contact the organizer below.

The Chilliwack river is known for its consistent water, challenging rapids for many levels (Class 2-4+), including 'Tamihi', beautiful scenery, nice camping and easy access.

Our friends from the Island are invited to mark their calendars and make their plans
