Surfing at Long Beach

Hello fellow paddlers. Monique & I are attending the surf festival next weekend. However, since I haven't actually ocean surfed in over two years & I have a Stingray that I have never used, I thought it might be a good idea to catch some waves before the festival. To this end, I have rented the Kvarno Guesthouse (w hot tub) in Ucluelet for this Saturday night. There is room for six people to stay & it's free so if anyone is interested in surfing this weekend they are welcome. I will be leaving Nanaimo around 9:00 am if anyone wants to carpool. Let's get wet.
