It has been raining quite a bit here in Victoria. Is anyone getting out paddling?

I'm wanting to hit the englishman falls again this weekend.

have you run the Englishman itself? I did it back in 2004 once. Obviously you can't do the falls at that level. I do remember a one-shot wave hole that IMO looked even more inviting than Tarp and Play.

where abouts is the wave? just wondering how to get access

It is on the "standard" run. About halfway from what I remember. I have only run it once, and I did it back in 2004.

It is on river left, as you come up on a big tree, branches in the water and you can't see what is ahead, I drifted past it, and wished I had not.

This is all downstream from the falls, you can only run the Englishman when the falls are too high to run. If you can run the falls, then the river is too low to paddle.

Well the falls are a no go for us northerners. It should be deep enough underneath because there are no visible rocks that far in. I'm going to have to work on the house and possibly flat water.
