just got this off cal paddle website. a long way to go but maybe fun. just throwing it out for discussion as i have no idea what runs when over here.

FYI - this is scheduled in Likely for Sept 15-17th.
It was a great time last year (ask Steve O, Magmafish, Barry M etc)... I'm heading up this year as well for more big water and fun.
Anyone is welcome to join.


what /where is this please?




Its in Likely,BC (north east of 150 mile house). Camping on the confluence and take outs for the Quesnel and Caribou rivers (big water BC rivers class 2 plus to 4 at this time of year levels).

I 'm told the dates are Sept 15,16 and 17th for those who would like to run the Chilco (by Williams Lake).

Paddle on the:



Quesnel Canyon - Class III

Cottonwood River - (medium flows) Four runs to choose from (Class II - IV)

Baker Creek - Creek Run

Blackwater River - Class II (one Class III rapid)

Beavermouth Creek - Two runs to choose, waterfalls, or class II (with one Class III rapid)

Swift River - Series of waterfalls followed by a Class I-II run futher downstream
