View Full Version : Looking to paddle july 24 - 28
Hi,
I am in Campbell River and am hoping to go paddling for the first time in about a year over the next week. Have no idea how the rivers are running, or even where to go. Relatively new to the area and still a bit of a beginner in ww - can read the water well and confident paddling in 3+ but have a rocky roll.
If you're interested in paddling, give me a shout.

There is pretty much nothing left on the island to paddle. I do know you can go for a grind down the puntledge or just park at riverwide or puntledge park and surf. Puntledge park is not bad because it's a bit deeper and has a good eddy to practice flat water. I will be heading there tomorrow night and probably on the weekend if it's nice out.

rivers will pick up when the rain comes so this fall and winter hopefully. after a good rainstorm pretty much anything is a go.
