just moved to Victoria and my new boat will be here soon i hope. looking to paddle as much as i can, comfortable in 3+ and have paddles a couple of 4's.

What sort of boat are you getting? Where have you paddled before?

mostly southwestern BC and southeast Alberta, but also the Clearwater ,lower st Mary's,Thompson Skookumchuck narrows and long beach. i am getting a Jackson

I have a super star and it's a great boat .... not a great river runner though !!

just the one. mostly i find two or more hard to control in moving water:D

LOL! I use one on each hand, and one on each foot. As required for the conditions I just "cartwheel" to select the correct boat! ;)
