looking to hit the rivers

hey fellow club members!

I am new to the Island and live in Victoria. I am also new to WW kayaking, I come from a sea kayak, sprint kayak and surf ski background. I defiantely consider myself a novice WW kayaker and I am looking to head out with people, learn some skills and have a good time on the river. I would go with you, unfortunately I am mostly in Toronto until June. However, there are a number of regulars in the Victoria area that you can get out on the river with. Make CERTAIN you get yourself to the Puntledge River Festival.
